TPC At Jasna Polana, is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Princeton, New Jersey.
The course first opened for play in June 1998. The TPC At Jasna Polana golf course was designed by Gary Player.
The TPC At Jasna Polana golf course was the fifteenth Tournament Players Club in the growing network of award-winning facilities. It was built on the 230-acre country estate of the late J. Seward Johnson of the Johnson & Johnson Company. His widow provided the property for the development of the club.
The TPC At Jasna Polana golf course layout is routed through eighty feet of elevation change and is framed by a variety of mature hardwood trees. The fairways have a variety of widths, some let you break out the driver while others will force you to keep it in the bag.
What distinguishes this facility as one of the most unique, elegant golf clubs in the world is the clubhouse. The Johnson's 46,000-square foot neoclassical mansion, built in the early 1970s, underwent an extensive eighteen-month transformation into a full-service facility. Significant changes included the conversion of the kitchen to commercial use, constructing the golf shop on what had been a garden, converting an exercise room and dance studio into a men's locker room, and creating a women's locker room out of what had been three guest suites. The mansion is adorned by a variety of gardens, including the bocci court surrounded by expansive, terraced gardens and a rose garden with reflecting pool. The estate also includes an orchid house that grows flowers year-round. Mrs. Johnson also contributed 18th century European paintings, handmade tapestries and other valuable artifacts that adorned her former residence. Due to the private nature of this facility, guest fees must be obtained from the pro shop.
The TPC At Jasna Polana plays to a par-72 and a distance of 7,098 yards for a course rating of 74.0 and a slope rating of 138.
